Reese Witherspoon is a classic heart shaped face. Heart shaped face and her hair always looks great. In the past few years, she has tried all trends to great affect: long hair, long, side swept bangs, blunt bangs, chin-length bob and shoulder length hair. The only cut she didn't look great in was the chin-length. While bobs can look great on heart shaped faces, the cut didn't work on Witherspoon.

She's sported shoulder length bobs, long waves, and shorter hair, but one thing she's rarely without is side swept bangs. Perhaps because of her face shape. Heart shaped faces are wider up top, which can look a bit heavy. You can balance out the face with long, side swept. The shortest pieces should hit your face at the arch of your brow. The longest pieces should hit the outer corners of your eyes.
Don't cut your bangs too short. I find it's best to cut bangs when dry because they tend to shrink when they dry.
